Spanish DJ Danny Avila Talks Collab With The Vamps & Machine Gun Kelly: Interview
23- year-old rising star, Spanish DJ Danny Avila has come a long way from his career in being one of the youngest DJ in the music industry. Recently he sat down with Billboard Radio China at Creamfields Guangzhou backstage to share his DJing experience from hosting in various house parties in a young age till now slowly pursuing his dream to become a very successful DJ.
Avila is drawn to electronic dance music due to the feeling that it creates within him. His passion for music started when he was 13 years old. “For me, it’s like being in the right place in the right time. If you don’t try, you are not gonna make it.” Seizing every opportunity with an open personality, he learned and improved through meeting different people and making collaborations to succeed.
Becoming the spotlight in performing from small shows to big events was a huge process that he managed to adapt and easily get used to. He explained that the feeling of “being ready” and personal confidence is essential with dealing the pressure of becoming a DJ. “The more you work, you can gain better results with the more hours you put into it.”
Avila’s recent collaboration with The Vamps and rapper Machine Gun Kelly’s ‘Too Good To Be True' is a successful hit. “Through my music, I want to come up with something that can be very interesting for a bigger audience, taking my music into the next level and collaborating with bigger artists. Just like Mnek and Zara Larsson’s “Never Forget You”, Tiesto’s “ On My Way” are remixes from me.”
